Scott recently worked as assistant to composer John Keane
on the hit T.V. show for the C.S.I. for 3 years. Scott
has also provided support, programming and training for
composers James Newton Howard, Steve Porocaro, Russ Landau,
Donny Wilkerson and others. He is now scoring films, working
as a music editor, performing and recording with his Sanskrit/Salsa
band Jai Salsa, teaching music computer skills and teaching
Salsa dancing.
In the past Scott has scored numerous films
and TV shows including writing the theme for the Prime
Time CBS Television series "Rescue 911" (which
earned him 3 BMI TV/Film awards) and other programs that
have aired on UPN, Lifetime, The Discovery Channel, TNT
and Fox.
Wild Colonials
Scott is a founding member of the Wild Colonials. Since
it's inception in 1992, the band received much critical
praise, signed to Geffen records, released 3 records nationally
and toured nationally. Highlights of their career include
recording at Peter Gabriel's studios in Bath England,
being backed up by artist's Rickie Lee Jones, Cindy Lauper,
Jon Brion (Magnolia's), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello),
Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili
Peppers), and other's. They shared stages with artists
such as Los Lobos, King Crimson, Midnight Oil, Sara Mclachlan
(The Lilith Fair Tour) and Chris Isaak. The 3rd album
("Reel Life"), a tribute to finding a home for
their music in more then 15 films or TV shows, was released
independently.

Musical Skills
Scott is a multi-instrumentalist and uses instruments
from many cultures in his compositions. He plays soprano,
alto, tenor & baritone saxophone, concert flute, bamboo
flute, American Indian flute, Irish flute, fife, pennywhistle,
ocarina, electric bass, guitar, piano/keyboards &
didjeridu. Scott performed live with Tracy Chapman and
contributed as a Didjeridu player on her triple platinum
album "New Beginning". Scott has recorded with
producers Tchad Blake (Sheryl Crow, Los Lobos) Tony Berg
(Michael Penn) and Don Geham (Tracy Chapman).
Education
Scott is a schooled musician - he graduated cum laude
from the Berklee School of Music in Boston with a Major
in Film Scoring. He has composed & arranged music
for orchestra (original compositions and arrangements
performed by the Delaware Symphony), choir, jazz bands,
and various small ensembles.
Film Making
Scott also understands film making from the film makers
point of view as he was formerly a picture editor. Scott
edited music videos for artists including Lenny Kravitz,
Celine Dion, Karyn White, Was Not Was, Maxi Priest, Alice
In Chains, and Electric Light Orchestra.
